Vol. 1 no. 2, 72 pages. Hiphop mag from New York City with stuff on the Jungle Brothers, Jeru the Damaja, Ras Kass, M.O.P., the Philly soul scene (Gamble and Huff, etc), graffiti art and interview (Giant, Neon, and Cram), the story of Shaolin Temple and Wu Tang Mountain, etc.

1978, 68 pages, published by the Green Valley Record Store. With two-sided flexi-disc from a 1961 Elvis press conference in Memphis. Mag features lots of photos, a biography, musical roots, the King's girls, Colonel Parker, reprints of press items from the 1950s, his gold Caddy, "Elvis: A Generous Humanitarian," interviews from 1970 and 1961, Elvis-related ads, etc.

Tabloid, 20 pages, March 3-March 24, 1988. L.A. music paper with lots of stuff by future Sympathy for the Record Industry anti-mogul Long Gone John, including Crawlspace (this article became the liner notes for In the Gospel Zone), 45 Grave, the Nymphs, Tav Falco's Panther Burns, the Hickoids, and Zodiac Mindwarp. Also stuff on Soundgarden, the Droogs, the Ringling Sisters, the film Brain Damage, photos of the Doors, pro wrestling, etc.
